Founded in 2019 by designer and aesthete, Tremaine Emory, Denim Tears debuted their first denim collection for winter 2025.
The collection, titled “YOU WON’T BLEED US,” launched this month, featuring collaborations (Rolling Stones, Black Yankees) and its own core denim line, “DENIM BY DENIM TEARS,” with iconic Cotton Wreath motifs on new straight/loose fits.
Key items include Panther-inspired leather pants, ’70s/80s styles like sculptural knits & wide-leg denim, plaid prints, and puffer jackets, available online and at pop-ups, focusing on cultural storytelling through texture and symbol.
In this collection Tremaine Emory continues his narrative on black history with pieces nodding to the Black Panther movement (leather pants) and ’70s/80s aesthetics.
Besides this core line, the debut of DENIM BY DENIM TEARS, the brand also includes in-house jeans in straight and loose fits with custom hardware and washes.
