We previewed the Balenciaga spring 2024 Ready-To-Wear looks – and it was one of the brand’s most impressive collections we’ve seen in quite a while. You can check out the fashion show in the video below.
Note that most of the clothes are actually super long, actually, floor swiping, for both women and men. And most of the pants – for him and for her – are super wide-leg and overlong. Over-sized shoulder pads are also very strong in this collection, we’ve missed those in the recent years!
We would also like to point out that we loved that the show included models of all ages and sizes! Age and size inclusive – Kudos to Demna Gvasalia, Balenciaga’s creative director!
The collection reiterated and underscored all the Demna-isms he’s impressed upon fashion at Balenciaga, and before that at his first business, Vetements. Humungous tailoring, oversize hoodies and jeans, sinister leather coats and military camouflage were represented.
