Phil Oh – 2023’s Best Streetstyle in Denim

If there is one photographer who always captures our attention during fashion weeks and the likes, it’s Phil Oh.

Being a fashion blog, we receive the latest runway show and collection preview images all the time. But – speaking for myself – I find the street looks just as fascinating and interesting as any fashion show. Mainly because what people wear out there is “real” and right now and I can relate. As opposed to previews and fashion shows which are about what’s to come. Future. And I prefer right now to future, especially when it comes to what I am wearing!

Phil Oh has a knack for finding the most intriguing looks out there on the streets, in everyday life. He captures all the amazing and funky outfits worn by people who definitely enjoy what they are wearing.

As Phil recently said in an interview: “People tend to tighten up and look serious when they know they’re being photographed, which is no fun,” says Oh. “I like images that capture a moment where I’m getting some emotional response from the subject, whether it is joy or confusion or a mix of the two…but I’ll take what I can get.”
