DL1961’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection is a refined assortment of modern styles featuring their strong, functional fabrics in exceptionally dynamic washes. Their fresh take on current and upcoming trends, in addition to fine-tuning all aspects from fit to branding, further advance DL1961 in a contemporary direction. This season they leaned into a more relaxed and vintage feel with their denim fits, and highlighted these ideas in their collection by making the denim look and feel like you have owned them for years.
“With sustainability at our core, we have invested heavily into sustainable technologies, such as ozone and laser, so that we can achieve the vintage and dynamic washes in a manner that is better not only for the planet, but also for the people who physically produce our denim. We made sure to use the best materials we can, such as certified cotton, Recover™ fibers & Tencel™ Lyocell, and for our new leather and silk programs, we bought deadstock fabrics. All of this is produced in our vertically integrated factory, which allows us to keep tighter control on the entire design and manufacturing process from fiber to finished garment.”
New offerings this season include low-rise denim, cargo pants, denim maxi and miniskirts, dresses, and ready-to-wear pieces. For our bottoms, the range of fabrics we utilized includes luxe velvet, two corduroy qualities, leather and shiny coated denim. With our newly expanded ready-to-wear program, these styles are made using fabrics such as silk, leather, poplin, jersey, certified cotton French terry and, as we do best, denim.
