Is it just us? Or do you think that as well when checking out the Dsquared2 pre-fall 2024 men’s looks? Did the designer twins, Dean and Dan Caten, really “calm down”?
As opposed to what we have come to expect from Dsquared2, the pre-fall denim styles and washes do seem quite laid back. Continuing the same vintage dark distressed denim washes in almost all of the jeans and denim jackets. With the exception of a patchwork and a logo glitter embellished pair of jeans – see below.
The collection is a sartorial ode to the great outdoors fused with a distinct Canadian spirit. Outdoorsy, minus some scratches and drops of blood. Kind of where street savvy meets wilderness chic, creating a rugged and refined look. The collection is a play of contrasts: think lumberjack meets luxury.
Bold plaid patterns pay homage to Dsquared2’s Canadian roots, harking back to the country’s iconic flannel shirts, reimagined with a contemporary twist. These pieces are storytellers of the Catens’ heritage, narrated through modern tailoring.
Yep, refined lumberjack and rather clean and not too much destructed denim, if this is your thing, then there is a lot here for you to love! This pre-fall 2024 collection will only be available to shop for in a few weeks. But meantime you can purchase Dsquared2 clothing at YOOX, Cettire, and at Neiman Marcus.
