John Elliott’s fall 2024 denim styles are like right in the middle. Let us explain:
There are brands like Balenciaga or MM6 Maison Margiela which go for the extreme. Extra large styles with everything uber- and over sized. And there are also many other brands carrying regular denim styles ranging from skinny to baggy, but not going overboard. Like Hudson Jeans, Paige, or Joe’s.
John Elliott is giving us the perfect middle way out. Neither are their jeans over-baggy or over-long, nor are they too “regular base” – we’re sure you get the idea. There is a “mid-way” mix of denim fits and styles to choose from.
All in all, this collection is more elevated than his previous ones, blending tailoring with sportswear in a rich palette of earth tones. Also, a lot of attention has been paid to details. This is evident in the use of zippers, buckles, and unique stitching patterns. You will also find functional elements like multiple pockets and adjustable hems – very useful, definitely!
