Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Pharrell Williams, clearly had his rodeo moment for the fall/winter 2024 collection! A total vibe of everything Western/Cowboy.
Pharrell kicked off Paris Fashion Week this January, by bringing the spirit of the American rodeo to Paris for Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Pharrell’s third outing as Louis Vuiton’s creative director of menswear paid tribute to the American West and indigenous fashion.
The collection includes everything from cowboy hats to contemporary workwear with a Westernized twist.
“It was an honor to get a chance to do something around the West and Western workwear vibes,” says Pharrell.
“I feel like when you see cowboys portrayed, you see only a few versions. You never really get to see what some of the original cowboys really look like. They look like us, they look like me, they look Black, they look Native American.”
In his own off-white cowboy hat, dark wash flare jeans, and ostrich roper boots, it was hard not to think that there was a new sheriff in town 😉
