Off-White’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “Duty Free,” took place during New York Fashion Week. The event took place on a public basketball court, symbolizing inclusivity and community.
Off-White is a company launched by late Virgil Abloh. Its home-is-everywhere-and-nowhere aspect was befitting of its founder, who was one of the industry’s most peripatetic people. And it’s what enabled his hand-picked successor, Ib Kamara, to bring the label to New York Fashion Week for a stateside runway show this season, unbelievably the brand’s first-ever.
The collection, titled ‘Duty Free’, was inspired by Kamara’s visit to Ghana, merging African craftsmanship with American streetwear and sports aesthetics. The presentation included bold colors, oversized silhouettes, varsity jackets, and basketball-inspired elements, reflecting a fusion of global cultures and street style. Kamara emphasized bringing people together through fashion, making it both a personal and communal statement
The spring 2025 collection will only be available in a few months. But you can shop for the current collection at Neiman Marcus, Farfetch women/men. and at YOOX women/men.
