PDF – the Italian interpretation of streetwear hit the runway this past week in Milan. And if you are an “anti-fit” kind of guy, then this is definitely a brand for you!
PDF, established in 2023, is the brainchild of stylist, Domenico Formichetti. Titled “United Jam,” PDF’s Fall 2025 collection referenced ‘90s and 2000s hip-hop. To be more specific, the genre’s golden age of music videos.
A deep and loud dive into streetwear 1.0 from the ‘90s and early 2000s, the collection is like a CD bootleg, remixing key sportswear tropes. There is everything from varsity jackets and baggy denim to oversize puffers, as well as anoraks and Timberland boots. And this for a generation that did not experience firsthand the rise of the streetwear movement, nor has probably seen the movie “Boyz n the Hood” by John Singleton, a key fashion reference for the collection.
