Balenciaga’s Spring 2025 collection – under Demna’s creative direction – showcased a mix of avant-garde fashion. And some quite “experimental” looks! But well, this is what we all have come to expect of Demna.
Demna played with exaggerated proportions and familiar wardrobe items, from spliced trench coats to Medici-style collars made from five-pocket jeans. One of the highlights was the lingerie-inspired looks paired with oversized jackets, showing an unconventional mix of boudoir and daywear. Collaborations, including one with Under Armour, brought a tech-inspired edge to the collection. Accessories like platform metalhead boots and sneaker box clutches kept with Balenciaga’s innovative and eclectic ethos.
This season’s theme pushed boundaries without relying heavily on pop culture, focusing instead on extravagant styling and innovative designs.
