AMIRI Spring 2027 is definitely not the former distressed-rocker AMIRI denim. Mike Amiri shifted the collection toward a more polished, clean 1980’s Los Angeles.
Well, here’s yet another brand swaying from beautifully distressed and ripped denims.
What was once a denim brand known for amazing, truly unique jeans is now just another ex-denim brand digging into the haute couture market. Sad. But we guess it’s all about “evolving”, at all cost.
AMIRI’s Spring 2027 collection includes a couple of denims. To be exact: three pieces. Albeit, nothing even close to what they used to be, these pieces are adhering to the “clean” and tailored trend predictions for the next few seasons at least.
AMIRI’s denim direction for Spring 2027 heads towards relaxed/straight-to-loose blue jeans paired with tailored jackets, rather than being styled as overt streetwear. Denim is deliberately contrasted with luxury tailoring—a key part of the collection’s new Amiri vocabulary.
To sum it up, AMIRI’s denim remains present but is no longer the rebellious centerpiece. The collection’s emphasis is on fit, tailoring, polish and glamour. That makes AMIRI another strong indication that Spring 2027 men’s denim is moving toward refined, dressed-up denim rather than simply cycling back to overly distressed jeans.
