Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons built their Prada Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection around familiar wardrobe staples. Jeans, T-shirts, blazers, and leather jackets stripped down to their essentials.
The collection, titled “Clarity”, pursued the fundamental. Denim was one of the key pillars of the collection, reflecting the designers’ pursuit of “clarity.”
Perhaps the biggest denim message was the elevation of white jeans, which appeared as an alternative to traditional blue denim. Some were even translated into bright leather, emphasizing simplicity and purity rather than distressing or embellishment.

Denim included coordinated denim jackets and pants in muted pastel and earthy tones. Clean washes without heavy treatments. The fits were generally very fitted, if not to say skinny. The silhouette shift was unmistakably moving away from the oversized proportions that have dominated much of the 2020s.
To sum it up, the new luxury denim is quiet, lean, and intentionally uncomplicated.
